River tracing is an inherently dangerous outdoor activity. The traces, GPS coordinates, route notes, equipment lists, and safety information on Trace Taiwan are contributed by the community and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or out of date. River conditions change quickly and without warning. You are solely responsible for your own safety: assess conditions yourself, carry proper equipment, go with experienced people, and never rely on this website as your only source of information. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Trace Taiwan and its contributors accept no liability for injury, loss, or death arising from river tracing or from any use of the information on this site.
