A downpour might get the river to flood rapidly. Rivers in Pinglin District tend to flood rapidly in a downpour. In June 2016, a commercial river tracing team was hit by a flood and 5 people were dead. They failed to anticipate or perceive the downpour taken place in the upstream area while they were tracing.

General information
Trees, water and mountains are emerald green. Many pools in this river. I traced the right fork which has most fun. The mainstream is boring, thus not worthy going. There is a 2M slope in the middle (24.90268,121.77072) that you either need to booast up with your teammate or pull yourself up on the pipe to get over.
