General information
The Golden Waterfall of Laiyi is located right at the junction where a small tributary enters the main river. It can be easily spotted as you walk up the Linbian River. It is a short river trace that takes no more than an hour in total, making it a fine appetizer for larger routes such as Xiaoshihun Gorge or Jishan Waterfall. The initial section, which involves climbing up the main waterfall, is not difficult. Past this point, the creek narrows and the flow becomes slightly stronger, but it remained manageable during my visit. After a few short waterfall climbs, you will reach the final section, a 4-meter waterfall.
