The creek is not fun when it is too dry. The two-layer slide is safe but checking for rocks beforehand in water is always necessary. The single slide before the two-layer slide is not recommended due to the possibility of injury.
You need to go through thick silver grass to get to the main river. The three small waterfalls are near the fork. There is a trail by the river on the left side(facing downstream). Nothing special after the three waterfalls. A 1-hour river trace.
Lushan(廬山溫泉) hot spring. The destination is a hot spring well and the crystallization of hot spring minerals. Hot spring water pops out everywhere in the valley. Go along the sidewalk along the river from the village, and you will find a damaged steel ladder leading to the valley by a abandoned house.
The creek is the source of hot spring water for the campsites in Chunyang(春陽部落) Tribe. Much part of the water temperature in the river is a little warm around 33~36 degree. It doesn't give you the enjoyable experience in a real natural hot spring, but you don't feel cold when being in the pools in this creek. The creeks have several big warm pools w ... here you can jump, a nice tiny valley, and 2 waterfalls. The creek looks ugly and disappointing because there are thousands of abandoned hot spring water pipes left in the creek, and the local doesn't seem to bother to clean them up at all. It has the vibe of post-apocalypse sci-fi movies like ruined cities in Matrix or Blade Runner 2049.
A few small waterfalls(3-4m) on the way to Ma'ao Creek Waterfall.
