The creek is not fun when it is too dry. The two-layer slide is safe but checking for rocks beforehand in water is always necessary. The single slide before the two-layer slide is not recommended due to the possibility of injury.
A few small waterfalls(3-4m) on the way to Ma'ao Creek Waterfall.

You can slide down Dashimen Waterfall(大石門瀑布) and its neighboring small waterfall to their pools. Be careful for the conditions of current. Great place for camping for there is a lot of ground along the shore.
This is a fairly easy and enjoyable trace. There are a lot of pools around the first half of it that were great to swim in, and you will encounter plenty of small waterfalls along the way. There are a couple of waterfalls you may have difficulty climbing if climbing isn't your thing however there is always a way to avoid them if you want to continue ... on. This includes the large waterfall where you can see the highway, you can climb out and around cross the road and get back in for a bit.
