23.787231,121.010994Jianianduan (Bunun: Kanitovan) used to be the home of some Bunun people. But now no one inhabits there. Jianianduan Hot Spring has its name because it is located in Jianianduan. One way is 16km. The water is the most difficult from Sunhai Bridge(starting point) to the fork of Danda River and Junda River because the two rivers merge and bring abund ... ant water. On the way to Jianianduan Hot Spring, you will pass Sanfensuo Hot Spring(23.74605,121.06948), whose hot spring source is on mountainside. Second half of the river tracing is in gorge and water is again strong. Proper wading technique is necessary. And some bouldering technique is also important. The hot spring is only available in dry seasons in Taiwan. -

Sambar deer, barking deer and goats can be seen in the valley. At the mountain foot of Yibahou Village lies the hot spring.
